Alex Gerrard is a third generation, Utah Artist. Often, experimenting with new techniques and mediums, Alex’s abstract expressionist, style, is a direct representation of her personal taste.
She hopes that the art evokes an unexpected, sophisticated, yet primitive mood. There is a beautiful unfolding to creating the work. By grounding in the present moment, she feels in collaboration with the entire in Universe. There is a call, and a response. Something, intuitively knows what is needed next, and then next.
The process is meditative, and for her, requires a kind of deep listening.Alex is best known for her abstract work, particularly her resin art pieces. Their reflective finish is the perfect complement to mirror the deep inner process of her work.
